Scarlet Roses is a Non-Profit Vampire Au fanzine of The Bad Batch. This zine follows two main plot lines some of it following the existing plot of The Bad Batch.This zine takes inspiration from other existing media's such as 1897 "Dracula" and other elements from Andrew Lloyd Webber's "Phantom of the Opera."
What is the au’s story?
As mentioned there are two storylines within this au. One that follows Omega in the bad batch, and the other a Oc x Canon story with Tech and Atsu.Plot 1 follows Omega finding the Bad Batch after being abandoned by Jango Fett in a town away. When the batch find her in the woods they take her in and care for her the best they are able to.The Bad Batch are vampire hunters, Originally is was Crosshair’s idea however when Omega joins the others began to do it less and less which caused Crosshair to leave and join Rampart, Hemlock, Wolffe, Cody and Emerie.After a bad mission, Rampart is attacked and bitten by a Vampire. Once Crosshair finds out it is far too late. Crosshair knew the group wasn’t any good by this point and before they found out about the but Crosshair leaves.On his way he finds Mayday, It was not for very long before the symptoms took over Crosshair. Mayday did the best he could to stop the symptoms but it was far too late as Crosshair attacked him.This goes back to the main plot to finding out Omega is immune to the symptoms of the vampire bite.The rest of the story is up to contributors!Plot 2 follows Tech after Crosshair leaves gets lost while he studies in the woods. However while he attempted to find his way back he got chased down by a Vampire. He found an abandoned mansion and hid inside of it.However during the chase Tech injured himself on the door to the mansion. The Vampire surprisingly didn’t attack him, instead helping Tech bandage his injured hand.It was surprising that the Vampire would bothering helping instead of attacking him.This side of the plot is a slow burn, starting with Atsu, the vampire, growing a little possessive over Tech who in turn decides to study him.
